Mercury NoDa Apartments, in Charlotte, NC, celebrated their grand opening. Through the vision of Jennifer Bowles Routson, of JBR Design in Atlanta, the Clubhouse was decorated with art purchased from local artists. I want to thank Jennifer Bowles Routson and Chad Hagler, with Woodfield Development, for purchasing SOAR. This wood fired abstract ceramic sculpture can now be viewed in the lobby of the Clubhouse at the Mercury NoDa Apartments.
CHIEF at ArtFields in the Lake City Public Library
From April 22nd to the 30th Lake City, SC becomes a living art gallery. ArtFields 2016 brings entertainment, community involvement and 400 artworks created by artists from across the southeastern states, together in one small town. This unique festival exhibits the artworks in local businesses and municipal buildings of Lake City. One of my figurative ceramic sculptures, CHIEF, was selected for the art competition and will be on display at the Lake City Public Library, a new venue for the competition. Thank you to all that make ArtFields a premier art festival and competition.
The ArtFields 2015 video will give you a taste of this fabulous event. |
